Said- Ad and department update

hey guys just wanted to see what you thought about my department article and ad. I am working on getting better logo files or just recreating them in illustrator. Do you think the left alignment is hard to read with the logo to the right of the text? let me know

Color change

Hello again,

I changed the color of the berries. I saw "golden raspberries" at the store the other day and thought why not just change the color to match my color scheme! Too much? Or good? I did not like the red, but I like the picture alot.

Hello all!

I worked on a spread and would like some feedback on it. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm not sure if the color of the berries throws the color scheme off.

Also, I have my PSA which will go on the back cover of the magazine. I used the organization I came up with for another classes project.
Let me know what you thin! Thanks!

Ticas_Final Reworks!

Hello class! I have been reworking and reworking! But kinda stuck, so really need your help here! I reworked the TOC based on Coni's comments and Brittney's. I made the article on the left smaller in size, and changed it to "The future of farms" instead of the "The New Face of Hunger." Also made the date and "Habitat" smaller to be more subtle. Thoughts? Improvement? Also fixed the image so the bind will not cut off her face ;)

The second is my Editor's note/mini article. I'm really struggling with this layout and trying to make it work together. I tried so many different things. Lastly, I ended up with this. But I still feel I need a little more. Suggestions?

Lastly, my AD. Yes, totally different from last week's post because after last class during our critiques, I got so inspired to make a clothing AD based on recycled clothing. Which is perfect for my audience because they love fashion. Meet Ziemia! (means Earth in polish) "Recycled and Renewed.
Ziemia strives to create high-quality, Eco-friendly clothing in a sustainable manner, and still make it cute and fashionable all while protecting the Earth!" I wanted to create something fun, edgy, and playful.

Can't wait to hear you guys!
Thanks!

Michael Eggerl - Complete Mag Layout (Post-Print)

Pages 2-3 (TOC Updated)

Pages 4-5

Pages 6-7

Pages 8-9 (Spread Updated)

Pages 10-11 (Spread Updated)
Based on feedback I've received pages 8 to 11 have been rearranged, colors changed, and layout of "The Next Green Revolution," now flows between pages 9 and 10.

Michael Eggerl - Give Yourself Time! (Post-Print)

Seeing Red? Seeing Green?
After printing in full-color on premium matt paper, I was finally able to see just how this is all going to look. As Apple says, what's changed? Everything!  If it was hard to read, or impossible to read, I've marked it in blocks of red. If it's changing due to feedback, after now being printed, it's been blocked in green. Take a look below. Leave yourself time to make changes after you've seen your layouts in printed full-color.  What I thought looked clear and amazing on screen, in print was mostly, or completely, unreadable.

DO NOT LEAVE FEEDBACK ON THIS POST
PLEASE SEE MY NEWER POST-PRINT POSTINGS

It's been tweaked, kerned, spaced, reimagined, and so much more.  Now, it's in your hands. I'm printing in color today to see how it compares to on-screen reading.  I'm sure this will drive some changes.  I'd also like to hear what you have to say about its current state.
